Pissuri Bay

Pissouri Bay is a sandy bay that is located in the Southwest of Cyprus and protected by Cape "Aspro" spectacular white cliffs.

Both sides the bay is surrounded by the cliffs, making the beach one of the most picturesque in this part of the coast of Cyprus.

This area is a gorgeous spot where moderate waves and generally known for its crystal clear azure sea.

Anchorage:

The anchoring is possible in about 4.5 meters over clear sand. There are many taverns, coffee shops, as well as entertainment facilities, has a water sports area. Wi-Fi can be held from Yialos Restaurant.

Facilities:

All the basic amenities equipped in the Central part of the beach: restaurants, showers, bars, small grocery shops and kiosks, while its western and eastern part remain virtually untouched.

Recommendations:

The beach is awarded with Blue Flag — a sign of cleanliness and quality of beaches and seawater. It has excellent protection from the westerly swell but still gets protection of the full force of the wind.

Things to do:

The Pissouri area is famous for growing grapes, mainly in the valley between the main roads and the sea that leads to Pissouri Bay. Not far from the bay is the small church of Saint Spyridonas. You may also would like to visit old Pissouri village, Pissouri Amphitheatre in the upper part and have a walk in one of the trail.
